I never thought I would test BB cream on my dad. We were discussing its’ effectiveness on dark skin so I tested it on him.
Apparently the BB cream my mom and I use works on him.
However, I highly doubt a 78 year old black man would ever consider using it….
HA. I love you, dad.
BSOD on my parent’s computer. Have been trying to find the root of problem all day yesterday and last night….
No virus/malware, no hardware malfunction, everything has been updated….

**Watching Nodame Cantabile at the moment. Then will work on Chopin’s Ballade No. 1. I think I wasted 4 years of college on the wrong major…Oh well.
I just discovered two things about myself while reading tweets from one of my favorite entertainers…
1. I don’t like being called “sweetie”. He called one of his followers “sweetie”, which was meant to sound endearing. However, it doesn’t not matter to me who is calling me “sweetie”; I do not care if you are Gackt, TOP, Jensen Ackles, a teacher I look up to, my boyfriend, my best friend, or a relative. I will not tolerate the word “sweetie” coming from your mouth and being directed at me, even if was meant to be endearing…unless you’re Stephen Fry or my mom. (For some reason they can get away with it.)
Overall, there is nothing wrong with the word. Many people like being called “sweetie”. Sure, it can be cute. However, at the moment, I find it a tad demeaning. Maybe it’s because those who call me sweetie think I’m 16 and try to push me around at work.
Which brings me to my next point…
2. I hate being called “lady”. Actually, I think many women may sympathize with me on this one. Being called a “lady” was at one point considered to be a good thing. And in certain situations and in a particular context, I can take it. However, the “hey, lady” thing will earn you a boot up the ass. I was called “lady” in front my class during my senior year in college. The teacher did not bother to learn my name and tried to get my attention with the phrase “hey lady”. UGH. I was ready to snap his neck. I haven’t thought about that moment since the end of that semester…until now.
